  1. Thanks Keith. The monetary policy-interest-capital destruction linkage is not taught in Universities. This is a total gap of instruction.

Do you remember the Hogan’s Hero’s episode when the POW’s acquired a bunch of gold bricks, used them to build steps for Col. Klink’s office, and then painted them red for safe-keeping till the end of the war?

Or the episode where they smashed the printing plates (and Klink’s monocle!) for the German’s counterfeit USD printing operation?

    1. Thanks for your comment Andy. I never actually watched Hogan’s Heros. I know, I know, sacrilege…

There is much that is not taught… too much! And in its place much rubbish instead!

  2. Keith
I enjoy reading your posts. You make so much sense in the bullion blogosphere.
I’ve just read yet another post about JP Morgan’s stash of physical silver.
One thing I’ve never understood is why JP Morgan’s has accumulated this haul of physical silver or is this just speculation? Or does it simply come down to JP Morgan being a market-making arbitrager? As in your Thoughtful Disagreement with Ted Butler. Do they need the silver to be a market making arbitrager?
