We are seeking an experienced sales or business development professional with a passion for driving business growth, to become our Vice President of Business Development. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and coordinating these efforts across the entire team. This position will report directly to the CEO.


  • Develop and execute business development strategies to support company growth and revenue goals.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and alliances.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with enterprise partners and clients.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Management, Origination, Marketing, and Operations teams to align business development initiatives with company objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and expansion opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, investors, and industry leaders.
  • Build and oversee the business development team, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Spearhead an industry organization
  • Represent the company in front of government-sponsored gold committees and working groups
  • Drive innovation and strategic thinking to position the company as an industry leader.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular reporting on business development activities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in international business, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Previous experience operating in an early-stage business environment is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of identifying and closing strategic business deals.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive results.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with experience in market expansion and revenue growth strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly competitive market.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and business development analytics tools.
  • Up to 50% travel is required.
